Mercy Pak was registered as society under Societies registration Act 1860 in January 2005 for the welfare of destitute at large.

MEC is spread over 50 kanals of land and the total covered area of the complex is about 100,000 Sq ft. There are spacious playgrounds & amusement parks for the students as in the complex.

It relies upon charitable donations from Zakat House, Kuwait Govt. entity, SRS (Social Reform Society), Peshawar Medical College Peshawar, income from Mercy Pak projects. Mercy Pak is providing relief assistance to the poor by undertaking various relief projects including Home Schools, Mercy Educational Complex, Mother and Child Health Care Centers, and Mercy Teaching Hospital.

Mercy Pak is running 6 community based schools in the vicinity of Rawalpindi-Islamabad and Al-Noor Model High School (having separate section one each for boys and girls) in Muzaffarabad – Azad Jammu & Kashmir in collaboration with National Education Foundation, Islamabad.
